A selection of choice DJs and impressive live acts fill the bill with the likes of The Enemy, Shy Child, Rob Da Bank and Annie Mac shaking the slopes last year. Artists perform in a variety of venues from a mountain top retreat some 1800m above sea level to a nightclub housed inside an igloo.

Arctic eccentricities are also a key feature of the festival so expect snowman Frisbee, mountain top beach party, Space Hopper races, snow volleyball, DIY puppet making and a massive fancy dress street party.

And if it all gets too much for piste-partiers the Blowback Day Care Centre is ready to nurture those hangovers with colouring-in competitions, bingo, limbo and board games.less
