Get Cape... and more go Snowbombing

05 January 2007
The world's biggest winter festival takes place in the Austrian town of Mayrhofen from 9-15 April.
Traditionally a dance festival, Snowbombing organisers have decided the time is right to introduce a wider range of music to the Alpine event.
Bands already confirmed include The Long Blondes, The Sunshine Underground, Mr Hudson & The Library and The Young Knives.
Other new additions include Digitalism, Uffie, The Loose Cannons, DJ Format, Guilty Pleasures, Deadly Avenger, Rodney P, plus loads more bands and DJs.
See the full lineup HERE.
Luxury coaches are ferrying UK festival goers to Austria direct from 10 different cities - from Glasgow to Dover - with a return journey costing less than £100.
A spokesman told us: "The Snowbombing Express is a great way to get to know everyone early on and if last years tales are anything to go by, the adventures begin earlier and last longer when you go by coach!"
For all the info you need on how to book travel, accommodation, and festival and ski passes - all at a lot less than you'd think - visit the official site HERE.
VF will once again be there to bring you all the action, so hopefully see you there. If you need any more persuasion to get your skis on, read our review of last year HERE.
