For the first time ever, all 20 awards will be presented at an exclusive live ceremony in London next month.
All the big categories are back, including Best Major Festival, Best Headline Act and Most Memorable Moment.
There are also a number of new awards, such as the Grass Roots Festival Award, the Fan Friendly Festival Award and even the Best Toilets Award!
A huge range of festivals have been nominated for a
raft of different awards, while the big hitting acts playing the summer circuit have also been recognised.
Bands and festival organisers are in the process of being notified of their nominations and many have already booked
their places at the UK Festival Awards bash, which will be held at the Carling Islington Academy
on Thursday, 19 October.
The awards night will feature music from some great festival bands and DJs - all to be announced in due course.
Partners of the UK Festival Awards, including Virtual Festivals, Virgin Radio, Drowned In Sound, Shelter and Face Party, will all be giving tickets away to the live event via their websites or on air, so stay posted.
But you could stand a chance of winning the ultimate prize, including tickets to ALL the winning festivals next year. Just click here to vote and have your say on who made the 2006 summer rock!
