Tim Deluxe, is our kind of DJ. Not only has the ginger ninja  unleashed one of the 21st century's catchiest dance numbers to date with 'It Just Won't Do' but he's then proceeded to cause untold mayhem and carnage at clubs and festivals throughout the land.

From riding a bike off the stage and landing himself in hospital whilst Erick Morillo played out at Newcastle's Shindig, to persuading scouse-houser Yousef that a wedding dress would be an entirely fitting form of attire at this year's Homelands, there's never a dull moment when Mr Deluxe is in the vicinity.

This year alone, in between an exhausting diary of DJ dates, he's found time to round up an album's worth of collaborators for a series of ambitious live festival performances. The culmination of which can be witnessed as the headlining slot in the Circus/Underwater tent at Creamfields brings this live extravaganza to a spectacular end.

Virtual Festivals: You've played a fair few festivals this year. What's been the best so far?
TD:
I think Homelands and Glastonbury. The vibe was just really good there. I enjoyed Global Gathering as well 'cos we were doing it live whereas the other two were DJ ones.

VF: You're headlining the Circus/Underwater tent at Creamfields and isn't it also going to be your last live performance for a while?
TD: Yeah, that be it then. That's the last one and it's like, that's it. It's over. Nip back in the studio, get the next one done and then next time we come out, there'll be even more live stuff.

VF: Is there anything special planned for Creamfields?
TD:
We've got a few little things up our sleeves but, you know what I mean, can't give the game away yet! There's gonna be a lot of activity on stage...! It's gonna be good.

VF: Have you got a lot of material ready for the next album?
TD: No. Starting from scratch, basically. I think it's gonna takes us six months to get it together. We're gonna get it ready for promoting around March time next year or even before that, maybe early next year we'll get it going.
